Jetpack subscriptions have problem with Pagelines?
-
I have Jetpack subscriptions running with my PageLines WP framework. I’ve tesed it with my own email address, and the subscription email never arrives. What do you suggest?

Hi,
Can you please check your spam or junk mail folder? Sometimes the emails get marked incorrectly as spam.

It wasn’t in my spam folder. This is a gmail address for a Google single-user domain and I’ve noticed that its capabilities have been degrading lately. Google is phasing out mappings of this type, and they’ve notified me that I have a year in which to change it from <user>@domain.com to (email visible only to moderators and staff).
I tried a different email account, and the subscription came through for that one. However, the url shows the IP instead of the www address. I suppose because I brought up my website on a temp IP and then mapped the domain. How do I change the url?
Thanks.

Have you tried switching over to Google Apps? http://www.google.com/enterprise/apps/business/
Despite the heavy-handed sales pitch, they’ll start you at the business level for 30 days, then you have the option to downgrade to the free level. Both allow you to use an email at your domain.
As for the IP, your blog is currently listed as http://www.cathrynlouis.com in our system, and we get the name from the Site Title set at Settings -> General. Do you have that set correctly?

Both the site and WP urls are set to http://www.cathrynlouis.com. I’m glad it’s listed correctly at WP.
I tried another email, and the Blog URL still comes through as the temp IP. I just changed to my domain name last Tuesday or Wednesday. Do you think some DNS servers on the net are still caching the temp url?
