jetpack thumbnail display problem

    I use jetpack on two of my sites, one my own and one for a current client. My own displays the thumbnails fine with nice larger gaps for the images to be evenly spread across the page available automatically. But the client’s site, with exactly the same media and thumbnail gallery settings refuses to do this and bunches them together whatever number of columns or space available. Really annoying, both sites have had the jetpack update and run the latest wordpress. What is the problem and can wordpress. solve this jetpack problem very soon. Does it have to have captions to force space between them?
