Jetpack Update Crashing My Sites

  I’ve attempted the Jetpack update today 1-20-16 on two of my sites that has left them completely unavailable with the Maintenance notice.

  This is wordpress.COM and we don’t provide Jetpack support. We provide support only for sites hosted by wordpress.COM. We do not provide support for wordpress.ORG software installs. Your site is not hosted by wordpress.COM. Our support docs do not apply, and we do not provide support. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

  Jetpack is a plugin used by WordPress.ORG bloggers to achieve parity with what we already have built into WordPress.COM blogs, and we do not provide Jetpack support on these wordpress.COM support forums. Please direct Jetpack issues to where they can get Jetpack support.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   As you are referring to a wordpress.ORG software install on paid hosting, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
