Jetpack update resulted in me losing my blog. How do I retrieve it?

Two days ago there was a Jetpack update made to my site. I did the update and got a message stating the update was successful.

The next day, while trying to go to my site, I was routed to a blank page. I logged on to wordpress.com and am getting all kinds of error messages while trying to figure out how to fix this problem.

When I go to settings I get an error message stating to ‘make sure your jetpack settings are up to date’. When I click on security I get the same error message.

When I click on the error message and try to update the jetpack settings I’m transported to my website’s upgrade page but all I get is a blank page.

    Help!

    Hi there
You would not see those errors from WordPress.COM, because here at WordPress.COM you are not allowed to do upgrades to software or utilities.
    https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/blank-home-page-after-update-a-jetpack-plugin?replies=7#post-2913112 talks about this issue.

In the future, please direct your questions regarding your sites hosted anywhere but WordPress.COM to https://wordpress.org/support/ That is the proper venue, since they have the experience with issues regarding WordPress installations NOT at WordPress.COM

    Good luck!
    dave
