Jetpack upgrade
-
I have a wp.org account through Blue Host. I’m trying to upgrade my free Jetpack to the paid personal plan. I apparently have a worpress.COM account. Am I supposed to ‘Map my domain’ without moving it from my current registrar?

Hi there,
You’d only need to map a domain to us if you wanted to use it with a site hosted on WordPress.com. If your site is hosted with Bluehost, you don’t need a mapping upgrade on our end.
What is your site’s URL? I don’t see any Jetpack sites connected to the WordPress.com account you’re using to post here.
To upgrade a Jetpack plan you must be logged in as the WordPress.com account that the Jetpack plugin on your site is connected to. Then if you go to My Site you’ll see the Jetpack site listed there, and you can click on Plans to purchase a Jetpack plan.

Thank you for your response!
My site is http://www.rightbrainrebel.com
On my BlueHost dashboard, there is a Jetpack plugin. When I try to upgrade my plan, it links me to wordpress.com and says I don’t have a site yet.
Does this mean I have two different wordpress accounts? One for .org and one for .com?
What am I doing wrong?

The site is not currently connected via Jetpack to any WordPress.com account. :)
That’s the first necessary step, so in the Jetpack section of your site’s Dashboard, you should see a prompt to connect it.
