Jetpack videopress purchase

  I purchased the jetpack videopress from my wordpress.org site, youarespecial.org but it then transferred to my old site. I do not want it on my old wordpress.com site. Can I use it on the wordpress.org and if not, then I would like a refund. Thank you. M

  Not with toleavealegacy.wordpress.com but youarespecial.org on a wordpress.org selfhosted site.

  Hi there!

  Have you followed the directions here about connecting your Jetpack site to your VideoPress subscription?

  If your VideoPress upgrade is on a WordPress.com site that is not linked to your WordPress.org site, you can transfer it by going to the dashboard of the site with the upgrade and going to Store > My Upgrades. Then under the VideoPress upgrade you can click on Transfer to another site and select the site that’s connected to your WordPress.org site.

  Hello Shawna,

  Thank you for your response. It still will not allow me to transfer to my wordpress.org account and for some reason went to my old blog. I had to ask for a refund. You have a great answer though and were very clear so I could follow the steps.

  I just want to make sure before we cancel your subscription. Because of the way VideoPress works, you can’t transfer it directly to your WordPress.org site, it need to be on a WordPress.com account that is then linked via Jetpack to your .org site.

  As you can see in this snapshot from the connection page, you’ll select which WordPress.com site to link to.
