Jetpack won’t let me use the contact user support form even though I am logged in.
-
Every single link to user support’s contact form takes me to a page with the message that I must be logged in to WordPress.com to use Jetpack’s user support contact form, even though I am obviously, currently logged in to WordPress.com.

Hi there,
This could indicate a problem with the login cookie we use to detect if you’re logged in or not.
In your browser settings, delete all WordPress.com cookies, then log back into WordPress.com. Then try going to the contact form again.
But I’m currently looking into your issue you submitted in https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/updated-site-need-to-recover-jetpack-subscribers-not-a-wordpress-com-site/, so let’s first see if I’m not able to help you there before we escalate this to the Jetpack team.

Dude, you are MY HERO!
Iz all fixed and now I can tell Google to re-index my site because it is beautiful and works on all kinds of devices and spam-free and has many loving subscribers.
So, yeah, YOU FIXED IT and Jetpack can keep on jetpacking.
Much gratitude. Feels like… I dunno, Christmas or something!

Looking at the old site, still 700 or so subscribers not transferred over… are they on the way? Is there anything we need to do to help complete the transfer?
-
I think you might be referring to the social followers? If so, all you need to do is connect your social accounts again, and those will show up.
-
No, I’m referring to email subscribers via Jetpack, not social followers. The original number was 3800 and some.
3100 and some migrated over.
700 and some remain.
Can we get them migrated, too?
-
Are you looking at the follower totals here?
https://wordpress.com/stats/insights/old.treatmentandrecoverysystems.com -
No, I’ve never seen that before.
I’m looking at the sidebar, where the widget says “Subscribe to RecoverySI via Email” and then “Join 701 other subscribers”
It’s the email subscribers I’m concerned about- we published a new post today and it appears 700 of them didn’t receive the notification and link?
And I have no way of knowing who they are.
-
Those are the followers via your connected Facebook page.
The subscription widget shows the total of WordPress.com followers, email followers, and any followers via connected social media accounts.
I double checked, and all your WordPress.com and email followers have been transferred.
But on the old connection I see a Facebook page connected, https://web.facebook.com/RecoverySI, showing 701 followers, while I don’t see that Facebook page connected on the new Jetpack connection.
Go to My Site ->Switch Site and select the new site. Then go to Tools ->Marketing ->Connections and connect your Facebook page, then the count on the widget should also update.

Oh! THANK you!
I was quite baffled.
Not least because I allowed the Facebook page to lapse into suspended animation a few years ago, not feeling terribly kindly about Facebook.
But that makes sense and perhaps I’ll briefly reanimate it on the new site just to move things along.
Much thanks to both of you!
