Jetpack WordPress.com Reader – No Bell notification on Published articles +

  Yup and after scrolling through the recent section the latest article from a day or two ago is slotted in the right place.

  The migration, someone other than me doing half the work, and DNS bandaids all over the place, inconsistent, differing, and separate ssl certs (I’m surprised the server responded at all) plus the inconsistent nature of the redirect I *think* have all been corrected now. I’m pretty sure it’s going to look good on your end and the next time a publish a post I’ll close this out once and for good.

  Thanks for looking into this more. That sounds like a lot to sort out.

  I tested on our end and the redirect is now working! 🎉 I also see our internal tool is parsing the feed properly, which is likely why posts are showing up in your Reader view.

  Let us know how it goes with the notifications, but I’m optimistic that we might finally be here.

  Also, we’d love to see you try other Jetpack plugins. If you have any questions or run into issues with them, opening threads on the plugin’s WordPress.org forum will be the place to go for help.

  This is also being worked on in another thread and all the major issues have finally been worked out. I’m still not getting the “Bell” notification when I publish an article but my articles ARE making it to the Reader Recent section and that’s the issue I cared about most working. And it does. Thanks everyone for all the help.

  Still no “Bell” notification when I publish post articles to the blog but they ARE finally showing in the Reader Recent section and that’s the one I cared most about.

  I’m satisfied with things the way they are right now. I know when I publish an article and I can overlook the fact the “Bell” no longer keeps track of when I publish articles, but the fact my articles are now all (ALL) showing up on the WordPress.com Reader and Recent section was the thing I was really wanting to work. And now it does.

  Thanks all for all the help in finally assisting me to iron out this situation so I could feel like a part of the WordPress.com blogging community again.
