Jetpack Yoast SEO Publicize htaccess

    Hello,
    we want to push blogentries to FB, G+ and Twitter via Jetpack publicize. We use yoast SEO and discovered the og image problem. I read a solution to this, but we wanted to configure a fallback.png, if the blogpost has no featured image (or any other image). The fallback.png has 200x200px now and works for FB but G+ does not show any image. Is there any possibility to solve this (Edit the blogs/og: image for FB, Twitter, G+ seperately)? What is the default image size for g+ in this case (normal size did not work)? The og metas show up correct but how they are interpreted seems random. Fb debugger and google debugger show the fallback image with correct og: metas.

    On a side note:
    While testing we deactivated both plugins seperately and tried to figure the problems out, but instead we discovered that the htaccess was overwritten. We searched this problem but didnt find an answer. Any idea how this happened?
