Jigoshop plugin with wordpress

Hi there, i’m a complete noob at wordpress so any guidance here will be most appreciated.
I want to set-up an online store that plugs into my website rawkaya.com.au
From reading a couple of blogs it sounds like Jigoshop is a good e-comm platform that works well with wordpress.
The installation seems pretty straightforward:
Download the Jigoshop plugin file
Unzip the file into a folder to your computer
Upload the /jigoshop/ folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ folder on your site
Visit the plugins page in WordPress Admin to activate the Jigoshop plugin
I just can’t figure out where my wp-content/plugins folder is and how I access it. Can anyone shed some light on this?

As a result, WordPress.com users won’t find a Plugins tab in the Dashboard.

hmm okay thanks. So i’m guessing that means I won’t be able to use the Jigoshop plugin easily with my wordpress site? Anything else you can recommend for an easy e-commerce store?
