  In the last few days the number of followers has gone down from 547 to 544. Why?

  Could be your twitter or tumblr followers / unfollowing?

  If you have connected any of your social networking services (such as Facebook or Twitter) through our Publicize feature, counts for your followers on some of those services will also be shown in the Publicize module.

  Thanks for this, but I’ve checked and Twitter & Facebook followers are actually up, so it’s not that.

  The follower numbers on external services will only update when you publish a new post. Your last post was on 24 April.

  Have you noticed any drop in WPcom or email followers?
