    Hi there,

Joomla templates can only be used for sites using Joomla, not sites using WordPress. In addition, themes can’t be uploaded to blogs hosted on WordPress.com.

On WordPress.com, you can select from a variety of themes to change your blog’s appearance. You can read more about customizing the appearance and theme of your blog on WordPress.com here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/

We offer over 210 themes, both free themes and premium themes created by leading theme companies. You can view all of our themes and filter them by specific criteria here:

    http://theme.wordpress.com/

You can also post suggestions for new themes we might add on our public user forum:

    https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-use-the-themes-forum

Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Thank you, I am aware of that. My problem is that there is no where to add plug in’s on my WordPress dashboard. The plug in’s offered are not what I need. Is there any WordPress upgrades that I can purchase to allow these plug ins? One in particular is Forms, like a pop up which captures users emails. The other I wanted was for mass emails, but I don’t think WordPress allows that? I know I can host Community Building forums on C Panel with Go Daddy, but I’d like to know what my options are with my exisiting Word Press upgrades.

    Thanks,

    Hi there,

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. It is not possible to install plugins on WordPress.com, either, for security reasons. Plugins can only be installed on self-hosted WordPress blogs. If you are wondering how WordPress.com differs from WordPress.org, this support article explains the distinction: WordPress.com and WordPress.org

However, WordPress.com has a built-in contact form feature that you can use: Contact Form

You can use that to add a form to any post or page and gather email addresses. You can also read more about your options for setting up subscriptions and newsletters here: Subscriptions and Newsletters

Please let me know if you have any other questions about that. :)
