JP carousel in category listing

First, I’m not sure if this is theme specific or just a general behaviour.

I just moved from a masonry type feat. image/excerpt theme (imbalance 2), to one that displays all the content in a list of posts (such as a category listing).
I use ’tiled galleries’ for most gallery posts, and after changing themes (to ‘Ari’) I noticed that when in a category listing, such as this for ex. http://thorirvidar.wordpress.com/category/architecture/), when scrolled down a bit, and clicking on a gallery image, it brings up the carousel, as expected. Then, when I ‘escape’ out of the carousel, I’m back to the top of my (archive) page, not where I had scrolled down before.

This is no big issue for me, I just thought I’d bring it to your attention in case you hadn’t noticed, as I believe UX will improve if the user exits jp carousel to return to the same spot as she entered.

    Kindest, . . . Thorir V : )

After visiting your Ryu demo and trying the same (scroll down some, find a gallery, click a photo -> it opens in carousel, close carousel, I come out of carousel where I was and not at the top – whereas on my blog (using the Ari theme), when I have scrolled down some, clicked on a photogallery that openes in carousel, when exiting Carousel I’m back at the top again (be it a category listing or a blog page).

Which leads me to believe that the behaviour at my blog is theme specific (actually this can be seen in the Ari demo if you scroll down to ‘Fall in Luxemburg’ post which contains a photo gallery).

I don’t suppose there is anything I can do to remedy the issue, but I thought I’d at least post what I’ve noticed . .

    Regards, Th
