jpeg file will not upload without “file type does not meet security guidelines”

    Since last Thursday I have been trying to upload a photo and logo, both in jpeg format and I keep getting “file type does not meet security guidelines” Now what? I have had a graphics friends change the type several times and I still am getting the prompt.

    It may be that the file name says jpg, but it isn’t actually a jpg. Make sure it is being saved as a jpg, and not simply having the name changed to end in .jpg.

    The other possibility is that you have used characters other than a-z and 0-9 in the file name. No punctuation, no special characters, no underscores.
