JPEG images upload & insert well but when published appear smaller

  Dear all,

  JPEG images are well uploaded and they appear normal when creating/editing a post. When the post is published, they change and appear much smaller (also in the preview).
  In contrast, PNG images upload, insert and publish normally.

  Does anybody know the reason and how we can solve the problem?

  Give us a link to one of the uploaded images that this has happened to and to a post or page where this is occurring.

  Are you aware of the image dimensions specified for your Twenty Eleven theme?
