.JPG files

once I add a .JPG file into my site I can not click on it to do anything to it. Like add a link or align it or anything. I noticed this a couple of weeks ago but now it’s starting to get in the way of updating my site. I’m not sure how to explain it but when I click on the .JPG it doesn’t hold?

To clear up any confusion, there are 2 versions of WordPress. WordPress.com is a managed environment different from using the open source WordPress installation. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities.
You might check in with your host to see if there’s an error log you could look at for more information. Or, you could look in this forum; perhaps someone there has experienced something similar:
