Howdy!
Sorry you lost us on chat. I’m happy to help you here though! The easiest way to do this would be to use the Image Widget as described here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/
You could place the widget in your footer area on your widgets page here:
https://sustainableinvesting4all.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php
Can you give that a try and let me know if you can get the look you want?

This is what was given to me, but when I copy and paste this in the widget area and click save, it disappears. My guess is, this is too much info. So, what should I keep? Thanks.

Hi!
Within the image widget, you’ll just want to use the following URL:
Just place that in the image URL field as explained here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/
Let me know if you have any trouble!

I am having the same problem with a different image:
http://www.greengaintool.org/front/fronts/myseal/4011This is the total of what they gave me:
<script type=”text/javascript”>
document.write(‘<iframe style=”border: 0; margin: 0; overflow: hidden; padding: 0;” src=”http://www.greengaintool.org/front/fronts/myseal/4011″></iframe>’);</script>I thought that I was using the same format that you showed me (just the URL) but it is not working. Thanks.

Also, why can’t I just put a gif or a jpg from my media library in the widget area? Thanks.

Hi there,
It looks like you did have everything setup correctly. However, the link you’re using isn’t an actual image; it’s a link to a web page. To use the image widget, you’ll need to use a link that ends with jpg for example. Does that make sense?
Also, why can’t I just put a gif or a jpg from my media library in the widget area? Thanks.
You can! If you click the Edit link for a media item, you’ll be taken to a page like this:
https://sustainableinvesting4all.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=564&action=edit
On the right-hand side of the screen, you’ll see a “File URL” field. Using this URL in the image widget should reveal an image. In this case, the URL would be the following:
https://sustainableinvesting4all.files.wordpress.com/2014/06/green_america_silver_web_small.gif -
You are awesome. Last question (for now): When someone clicks on a link in the widget area, I would like the link to open in a new window. I do not see the option for this. (I have learned how to do this for links embedded in pages.) Thanks.

Hi!
Unfortunately, it isn’t possible at the moment to specify image widget links to open in a new tab. In general, if you add taget=”_blank” to the URL HTML, the link will open in a new window. However, adding that to the URL in the image widget does not work in the same way.
If you’re referring to links within text widgets, you can employ the following format:
<a href="Link" target="_blank">Text</a>It isn’t currently possible in the image widget though.
