JPG white text in file displays gray

It’s the featured image on my site home page: https://altavistacatsitter.com/
The jpg has white text and the home page does not.
Why? How do I fix it?

Hi @qax1009.
It looks like your site is using the Edin theme. This particular theme has an optional filter on the featured images. It seems that this filter might be what is giving your white text a gray tint.
You can turn off the filter by opening the customizer and navigating to the “Theme Options” panel.
In that panel you wil see a checkbox with the following option: “Featured Image: remove filter.”
Checking that box should display the jpg the way you are expecting.
