How do I remove the “Jump to Comments” and the little down arrow?
-
Hi there,
Before we can give good advice we need to know what the url for your wordpress.com blog is. Then we can look at it and see the theme locate what you are talking about.Suffice to say that if you have a wordpress.com free hosted blog and don’t have the css upgrade then whatever the theme is coded to produce cannot be changed.
-
Is this the blog you are talking about http://kellrick.wordpress.com/ ?
That could be removed with the CSS upgrade, if you have CSS editing experience, but it would take away your reader’s ability to quickly get to where they can leave a comment. It would also take away the “category” listing to the left of comments.

Yes, and I just looked, the category listing on the left and the comments on the right are two different classes, so the comments link and the icon could be set to “display: none” and disappear, but it would take the CSS upgrade and some hacking of the code. Not recommended unless you have experience.

It’s called dkret3 but it’s not available here on .com. The blog currently linked to my username is self-hosted. I have two others here at .com, but haven’t gotten them up and running yet.
