Jumping to a certain section of a page??/

okay, I am not sure how to really word this so I will try to ask my question with as many details as I can.

I have a book review blog, and right now I am creating a new page for every review I write. I do not want the reviews on my main book shelf page. So, right now I am gaining A LOT of pages in my dashboard. I wanted to lessen the amount of pages I have.

So, I would like to put several reviews on one page to eliminate so many pages in my dashboard. My question is: How do I make a page with several different reviews on them and have it go to a certain review on that page when someone clicks on the link instead of having to scroll through all the reviews? Does that make any since? So, if I click on the Shatter Me review I want it to go straight to that review on the page instead of having to scroll through all the reviews on that page.

Or if you have an idea that has a better solution please let me know. I have a “Book Shelf” on my blog with a list of books I have read and reviews. I want it to where you click a link for the review to show up.
    Thanks!!!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hello,

I would recommend you use anchors to jump to certain content within your pages. Page jumping is where you click a link and instantly get moved somewhere further up or down a long page.

Please see this link for the details: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/page-jumps/

    Hi there,
If you have any difficulty I recommend using these instructions for creating page jump links as they are easier for me to understand http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/08/01/links-to-specific-points-on-a-page/
