  Is there anyway to remove this from the homepage header? I can’t seem to find it. I’m using one of the templates, but i’m assuming this doesn’t have to be there.

  Go to Dasboard > Options > General. It’s the tagline; just delete it and replace it with what you want. Hope that helps.
