Just bought a domain…How long must I wait til DNS propagates and I can see it?

So I just bought a domain name for my new blog and when I type in hypemagnet.com…nothing comes up. I know its because the DNS things haven’t worked out yet, but when can I expect to see it finished?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It can take up to 72 hours but usually takes less time. What’s critical is following the steps and updating the primary domain.
5. To activate your new domain, select the button next to the one you wish to activate and click Update Primary Domain. Your blog will be accessible from both of these domains; the Primary Domain is what actually appears as your domain within the address bar of web browsers. It will take time for it to settle down and there may be some switching back and forth do don’t panic if you see that happening. :)
