Just bought domain & created account, now can't log in

  I am helping a friend set up a wordpress page. We created an account, then bought the domain lisamberg.com . We worked on it briefly and then logged out to work on another project. Later the same day, we cannot log in. The page is up, but she never received the confirmation email from wordpress. When we try to get back in it says the email address we are trying to sign in with is invalid. She paid for the upgrade, but we can’t contact WordPress directly without log gin in. I am assuming there was a typo when we originally entered the email address to create the account. How do I fix this?
