Just build a site – nothing else

  Is it possible to just build in WordPress?
  I try to start a site and it asks me what domain I want etc.

  To be clear, I want to prototype pages in here as I aim to build a few sites overall in WordPress off the back of that. Is that possible, without having to define which domain name I want etc?

  To create a site here requires a domain address. It can of course be a free subdomain ending in .blog or .wordpress.com.
