Just curious..Please shed some light, Something to do with blog stats

This is not an actual problem, but I’m just a bit curious ..actually a bit cheekyly curious ;-). Well, this is about,. Now all I want to know is, recently somebody is visiting me from their yahoo mail account…now somebody who is reading my blog has sent my link thru yahoo mail to some other yahoo mail account and this person is accessing my blog with the link in his mail message. I can see a link which is as follows
——-http://us.f507.mail.yahoo.com/ym/ShowLetter?*******************er=d******************=0&view=a&head=b&box=Inbox
(ps:i’ve actually deleted most of the info from the link, just in case)
All I want to know the is the username of the yahoo mail account who has been getting my blog’s link to his mail. I think this is a dead end and is not possible…well just in case if anybody has an idea….

well, i think that wouldn’t be very polite (to say the least) to try to track someone down through a link to his/her e-mail account.

Well I know what you mean…but I get feeling somebody is talking about me swapping my link through their mail inboxes. Just imagine right…somebody out there are discussing about my blog….somebody has taken time to mail somebody else, cutting and pasting my blogs link and then composing a message saying to the other person…”did u c dilip’s blog..he is kinda crazy/cool…blah….blah blah”. You see what I mean….I’m just curious thats all. Its obvious that it is somebody I know or talked to atleast. Hmmm.anyway..I’m just wondering thats all…I guess it will another cosmic mystery in this universe. :-)

This is not a wordpress.com issue. For information about wp.com stats http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/02/09/questions-about-stats/ And if you require more specific stats you can have a free third party stat counter on your blog that will reveal the locations and IP’s of your readers http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/07/28/can-i-have-a-statcounter-on-my-blog/
If you are concerned about what people may be saying about you on the net you can set up a Google alert so whenever your username or blog’s name are mentioned you can trace it.
