Just got a Notification – Spike view warning – 400 an hour

Just got this about 10 minutes ago, I get on average 800/1000 views a day. I got a spike warning (is was in notification, in picture below) I am getting 400 views an hour.
Do I need to worry? It seems like it is coming from Pintrest, that I don’t really use.
Here are 3 screens. I just need to know if my site is being attacked or something.Thank you

Just to add, I have had 1,000 views from the USA and it is mid-day here in Scotland in my Castle.
I don’t get that a day… -

All the views came from California.

Most likely one of your Posts went sort of viral, WordPress.COM now sends notices, not a warning, but sort of a WOW more traffic
I got one a couple of weeks ago when someone from Finland looked at all the pictures I had for a trip I did several years ago on an Icebreaker
Nothing to worry about, maybe some of the new visitors will stick around

You do NOT need to worry. There’s a blog that used to be hosted here that got 145 million hits in two days and didn’t go down.
The notification is just a sort of “GO YOU!” message, not a flag that something’s wrong.

A blog I Admin for some friends got the same notice for 35 page views in an hour – so the number for the notice varies – as @RC says – it’s just an attaboy way to go thing
