Okay, so the word ‘epic’ might be a stretch, but it <i>is</i> definitely a good little idea. I knew the word ‘epic’ would draw attention. :)
I’d like to see the implementation of a feature which would make the creation of multi-page articles a little more user-friendly.
I know doing this is already possible but, if I’m not mistaken, it would currently involve the creation of a new post for each page of the article, with a custom “next page” link at the bottom of each. A feature in which the interface would recognize, and streamline the creation of, multi-page posts would certainly be a help to me. And I don’t think I’m so different from other bloggers, so I assume most everyone else would appreciate it too.
It’s certainly something that would help with advertising. I don’t know if splitting an article up into multiple pages is looked at by Automattic/FederatedMedia, positively, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t be. It’s a good way to have multiple ads displayed throughout longer articles, and as long as they’re engaged readers, I don’t see why that would be a problem.
I haven’t written much lately though… I hope this isn’t already a feature and I was too stupid to notice. >_<
