Just Help in General

  Good Evening WordPress Forum!
  I don’t want to seem like a total noob in this post, but unfortunately, that’s probably what this will turn into. I also want to say that I’ve searched exhaustedly on google the last two days, and this site for the answers, and can’t seem to grasp it.
  Anyway, I’ve been using WordPress for a couple weeks now, and still feel like I’m far behind in terms of being technically savy with my blog. If it makes any difference, I already bought the domain name on bluehost if that makes any difference.
  Here’s my problems.
  1. I want to have a “read more” type option on my blog, sorta like http://www.kroq.com, only I want to have a brief intro underneath the title of each article, then have a “read more” option that leads to the actual blog. I don’t know if its possible, but at the very least, I want to get the “read more” option. I’ve tinkered around with it for the last few days, but have yielded no success.
  2. I have no idea how to get to the (“function.php) file/folder. I honestly have no idea where it is but I’ve read online that it will give your blog alot more options.
  3. Don’t know where to post codes for plugins. If anyone could explain that to me, that’d be outstanding.
  I hope I posted this in the right category, and I apologize if I didn’t. Well, if you are willing to help me, I’d be very appreciative of any time or help you could send my way. Thanks.

  @gray – which blog are you asking about? you have a blog on bluehost and one on WordPress.COM that is linked to your name – both have stuff in them, but are supported in different help forums.
