Just lost a post by mistake

  I had 2 pages open, so that I could work while the blog was down. I was the same post i both writingfields.

  Then I posted the finished post to the blog and I saw the post sitting there just fine. Then I went to the other page and deletes the spare draft. But:

  When I updated the blog, the finished post disappered. It had been deleted too! Can I have it back?

  i think you can’t get it back. i had the same problem myself too; luckily it was short and i could remember the gist of it.

  next time when trying to post in the middle of downtime, best to always ctrl + c before publishing! =)

  It was not down right then. It had come back. And I checked the blog. The post had arrived safe and well. I did not delete the spare draft until I was sure.

  WordPress have just started to run again. It it still unstabil, but the blog opens now.

  Google already had it indexed so I can find it when I search just my own site. But: there is no cached…

  well, you could try your luck with support. i’ve read threads where they have retrieved deleted posts or something of the sort of problem you’re facing.
