Just need general help

Hello, on my blog, https://thenerdybuccaneer.wordpress.com/, I have no idea how to post to the individual menus I’ve created. I’m wanting to type an article on the NBA Finals under Sports>NBA.
Also, when I copy and paste this blog to share it, it posts a picture of a computer and on the website description it says “This is this home page’s excerpt.” I made a nifty logo and a line to replace “This is the home page’s excerpt.”
I don’t know how to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @thenerdybuccaneer – When creating and publishing a new post you can tag it ‘NBA Finals 2016’ for example. I see that your NBA page is still blank. You can add some text to this page, for example, “read all of my NBA Finals coverage”.
Go back to your new post and preview it, scroll down until you see the tags and locate the ‘NBA Finals 2016’ tag. Right click on the tag, and select ‘copy link as’. Now head back to your Page Edit Screen and highlight the portion of the text that you wish to link, while highlighted hit comand+v to paste. This will automatically insert the link. Or you can use the hyperlink icon in the Edit Page Screen. Now you have linked all of the posts with the NBA tag on your site to this link.
You aren’t able to direct a new post to only show up on one page of your blog.
