  I just published a new post and it’s not sending out to my email subscribers by email.

  Also – how do I resend emails to my subscribers (can I send out emails of posts I’ve already published — like can I RE-SEND published posts by eamil).

  And – how do I enter email addresses manually to add to my email subscribers (I can’t from my computer since I myself am already a subscriber).

  Hi there,

  I checked your Lemony Muffins post and I see you started it a couple months ago in February. It looks like you may have originally published it back in February, and then you republished it today with a new publish date. Is that right?

  If so, republishing a post like that won’t send out a new email to your subscribers. The email only goes out the first time you publish the post. If you want to trigger a new email for that post, you’ll need to copy the contents, delete the post, and then recreate it as a completely new post.

  Please let me know if you have any questions about that!

  And – how do I enter email addresses manually to add to my email subscribers (I can’t from my computer since I myself am already a subscriber).

  Your new subscribers will need to sign up themselves on your site — they can enter their email addresses to subscribe there. There isn’t a way to subscribe other people’s email addresses to your own site. :)

  In that case, you can log out of your WordPress.com account and then visit your blog. That way, you won’t see your account-specific details (like the fact that you’re subscribed to the blog) when you visit it. :)
