Just registered my domain again (3 days ago) and Its not working

  I have had a wordpress blog since 2013. I purchased the domain balancedfitnessforlife.com and let it expire the beginning of 2015. And just 3 days ago, I decided to reactivate my domain, and purchased it for 18$ per year, but my domain is still not working. Any ideas on what I need to do? I have searched around and I have no idea what I need to do or fix. Can someone help me? Thanks in advance!

  balancedfitnessforlife.com – does not seem to be registered.

  Do you see the transaction under Store >> My Upgrades or Store >> billing history?

  balancedfitnessforlife.com is not registered through WordPress.com, it is just mapped here. Domain Mapping is the upgrade you would purchase if you wanted to use a domain registered elsewhere (GoDaddy or 1and1 for example) with your WordPress.com site.

  If you had intended to register the domain instead of map it, let me know and I can help you get that sorted out.

  I wanted to register the domain and connect it to my blog. So are you saying that I would need to pay for the domain and then pay to have it mapped to my blog? By the way, thanks for your help with this.

  Domain Mapping and Domain Registration are similar, but different upgrades.

  Domain Mapping is $13/yr, and as I said, is for using a domain registered elsewhere with your WordPress.com site.

  Domain Registration is $18/yr and is just like it sounds, registering a domain name through WordPress.com to use with your WordPress.com site.

  So, you have two options at this point if you want to use balancedfitnessforlife.com with your WordPress.com site. Since you already have Domain Mapping purchased, you could just register balancedfitnessforlife.com through another domain registrar.

  Or, I can cancel the Domain Mapping upgrade, add $13 in credit to your account (to reflect the payment you already made) and you can just register balancedfitnessforlife.com through WordPress.com as it appears you were trying to do initially.
