Just signed up, chosen wordpress domain not on my account

  I just signed up to wordpress and selected a free wordpress domain (flyhigherweb.wordpress.com). When I submitted the request it took me back to the domain selection page and had an error saying something about needing a valid token?

  I received an email from wordpress to validate my email, but when I click on the ‘my site’ button it says I don’t have one, but when I type in flyhigherweb in the search box it says ‘this domain is taken’.

  How do I get access to the domain I selected?

  Can anyone help with this please? I’d quite like to use the domain I chose but as it stands flyhigherweb.wordpress.com is reserved!

  I’m not having any trouble seeing flyhigherweb.wordpress.com.
