  So I’ve already been blogging for about 2.5 months already. I was just WONDERING why sometimes the ‘Publish’ button becomes gigantic. And what’s with ‘This post is super awesome’ ?

  Do you have that “Surprise me” option enabled?

  WAIT– Yes I’ve found it: ‘Surprise Me’ mode is enabled.

  That is why you saw the “this post is super awesome.”

  That could also have something to do with the publish button getting big sometimes as well. No one really knows what all the “surprise me” thing does.

  I know that already — its just that why is there a Surprise Me mode if nothing happens – almost?

  I don’t know. Someone had a “great” idea and I don’t thing there is any follow through on it, or any further stuff being done.

  Really don’t know though.

  If you don’t want to be surprised on your dashboard, disable the Surprise Me option. Simple.

  If the “Surprise Me option” is enable the publish button does become enlarged…

  I was just confirming the Op’s question that yes their publish button is gigantic because they have the surprise me option enabled…

  Yes the Publish button is gigantic because I have Surprise Mode enabled. Is that, ‘This post is super awesome’ check box, and ‘Humanize’ the ‘surprises’ there are? Weird~

  Yes they are – not very big surprises. Didn’t even notice ‘Humanize’ was added onto. hmmmm……?

  there’s definitely more to the surprise mode than the size of the button and the check boxes, but yeah, i think they’re related :)
