Just started blog yesterday- confused why people are following?

  I just started my blog yestereday and am still trying to figure it out and organize it correctly. I have a few sample posts up just so I have something to work with, but they are not completed posts– in fact the blog looks like a jumbled mess. Why am I getting notifications that people are already following this mess?

  I need to do something with the settings– until I figure everything out, I want the blog to be available to people here and other forums so they can easily access it if I have questions about it– but not to everyone out there as it is not ready for prime time. What is the correct setting for this? Thank you!

  Hello there!
  You can not stop people from following you when your blog is a public one. If you are not ready to launch it yet you can make your blog private in your privacy settings.

  You can invite the specific people to see your private blog as users.
