How many people are allowed to view this blog, is it unlimted, ie to whoever I give the address to?
Thanks again
P.S. I have this on my BlackBerry Bold 9000, Edit/Upload whenever/wherever!

Wow, what nice work you do! Wish I could take a class…
Anyway, when you ask a question in the forums, you should always include a link to your blog. We, here in these forums are your fellow-bloggers, so it is very useful to take a look at the blog you are asking about. http://YOUR_BLOG.wordpress.com
If your blog is public, then there is no limit to the number of people who can read your blog. There are 2 choices for a public blog:
1. allow search engines to find and list your blog, and anyone can view it
2. don’t allow search engines to find your blog, but allow anyone to look at it if they find it, either because you tell them the link, or maybe at randomIf your blog is private, then only people you invite can read your blog. If you invite more than 35 people, you must pay for an upgrade.

re your fellow-bloggers, so it is very useful to take a look at the blog you are asking about
should say “so it is very useful if we can take a look at the blog you are asking about”

Sorry, my blog is http://jmarkybb.wordpress.com/
thanks for your quick reply.
Having trouble with “Stickynig” a blog to top of my blog/page
I want a certain three at the top, in a certain order, but I cant seem to keep it that order.
-
Here is the official documentation about sticky posts: http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/
One suggestion I’d make is to put all three posts you want to stick to the top into a single post, then with that post split with pagination:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/nextpage/I’m not sure, but think the order of the 3 sticky posts you are talking about may be related to the dates. So if you edit the dates of each to be in the order you like, then they would display that way: #3 would be 10 a.m. on a day, #2 would be 11 a.m., and #3-12 noon.
Also consider: If you have regular readers, they are not likely to want to scroll down 3 sticky posts to your latest news every time they check out your blog.
-
PS:
In my opinion, sticky posts should be used for announcements. As in: I have a new class which you can sign up for on DATE or with CONTACT_FORM…
If the 3 posts you are referring to as basic information about your classes, then (IMO) you would do better to put them into a page (similar to an “about” page). Or put that info into a text widget on your sidebar with an intriguing picture or title so new readers will want to see what it’s about.
just my opinion though… -
Using pages for your content has drawbacks:
1. Pages will show up lower in search engine results because search engines place lower emphasis on pages. Pages are meant for static content. For some types of sites, this may actually be the best way of presenting the material though.
2. When you publish a post, wordpress automatically “pings” all the major search engines to let them know you have published a new post so that they can index it. When you publish a page, wordpress does NOT “ping” the search engines. You will have to ping manually at a service such as pingomatic.com.
3. Only posts show up on an RSS feed, pages do not. That means people cannot subscribe to your blog so that they are alerted when you add something new.
4. You can assign categories and tags to posts to help the search engines properly place you in search results. Pages cannot have tags or categories as they sit outside the blog structure.

Oh, have a bouquet of michigan fall leaves and chrysanthemums instead. You deserve something nice, as generous as you are…

Thanks, today was full of web development work and one emergency blog repair where someone managed to inject some phishing code into a friend’s web host account causing their account to be suspended. All is well now though.

Well. have some virtual champagne and chocolate as well!
Sounds like a “Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” that we all have sometimes -
Thanks for your replys, I will put my three post on a seperate page as you suggested, cheers.
