just transfered domain, still redirecting to wordpress.com
-
A few months ago, I purchased the domain thegeekmates.com from wordpress.
Today, I transferred that domain to another register. I installed wordpress.org on my new host, but every time I try to go to http://www.thegeekmates.com/wp-admin , it redirects me to https://thegeekmates.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
Why is it doing this? What can I do to change this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I can get to your new log-in just fine
http://www.thegeekmates.com/wp-login.php
It can take 24 to 72 hours for changes to migrate across the internet and due to caching issues you will be the last one to see the changes –

Well, in a new browser, on a different computer, that link still redirects me to http://thegeekmates.wordpress.com/wp-login.php … so I doubt it’s a caching issue on my end.
I’ve done this before about a year ago with another website, and didn’t have this problem.
Got any more advice?

Your ISP and other routers can also have caching issues not just on your PC – these things just take a while to sort out –
Every site I have transferred has had a period of time that I could not access it but others could –
