Just trying to add a Theme I bought wordpress

  I have just bought Avada and would like to get started. I joined wordpress, when I go into appreance / Themes it does not give me the option to add a new theme. It just shows hundreds of others themes but no add box among them. What am I doing wrong?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  When you go to Appearance -> Themes on your dashboard, you should see tiles of themes. You can search for themes or select one of the themes listed. When you move the mouse over the tile for a theme a button labelled “activate” becomes visible. Click that button to activate the theme.

  What am I doing wrong?

  Buying a 3rd party theme for use on WordPress.COM – you can not use 3ed party themes on WordPress.COM – security & performance issues

  @auxclass — Good catch that this theme is not on WordPress.com purchase list. Shows what happens when you assume. :-)

  This is what I have.

  I have bought the avada Theme. I just want to install it. but when I go into themes there is no option to upload a new theme.

  How To Install Avada via WordPress

  Step 1 – Navigate to Appearance > Themes.

  Step 2 – Click Install Themes and click the Upload button.

  Step 3 – Navigate to find the “Avada.zip” file on your computer and click “Install Now”

  Step 4 – Activate the newly installed theme by going to Appearance > Themes and clicking the Activate button.

  Step 5 – Once you activate Avada, you will be redirected to our Welcome Screen. You will then see a notification message to install and activate the required & recommended plugins: Revolution Slider, Layer Slider and Fusion Core.

  Step 6 – In the notification message, click the ‘Go Install Plugins’ button to go to the Fusion Plugins tab where you can install and activate the required & recommended plugins.

  Step 7 – Simply click the Install button on each plugin to start installing them. After you’ve installed them, an Activate button will appear which you can click to start activating them.

  but when I log into the http://www.wordpress.com site and go into Appearance > Themes there is no option to upload.

  Their must be some thing I’m doing wrong?

  I thought it was OK because it mentions word press and how to instal it.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate systems.

  If you just look down the list of threads on the front page of the forum you will see that I alone answered this question four or five times just today. The answer doesn’t change.
