Just trying to use Jetpack on my existing site

  I already have an existing WordPress site and wanted to utilize Jetpack, but I was directed to login to WordPress.com to do so. I’ve now opened a WordPress.com acct which asks me to create a new WordPress site. Is there any way to link my existing site to my WordPress.com acct?

  We provide support only for blogs hosted by WordPress.COM. WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   Jetpack is a plugin for WordPress.ORG software installs to provide parity with blogs hosted by wordpress.COM. Some JetPack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/
  Others are in the JetPack support forum at WordPress.org

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
