Just want date to appear and hide the year
-
I just need date to appear on blogs like Jun 8, like simple . And not the year and time of posting.
I am using the sorbet theme. Can i change or should i like for a different theme.
Came across a blog theme, the bueno but its no longer available. -
Themes are retired when they no longer support all WordPress.COM features. Retired themes like Bueno cannot be used on blogs they were not used on prior to retirement.
The date cannot be removed form the URL for posts as it is embedded into them. It can be removed for the position it appears on the blog though. It’s not usually possible to hide just the year with CSS, since the date and year are contained in the same HTML element.
For example, in Sorbet, the HTML code looks like this:
<time class="entry-date" datetime="2015-06-09T08:09:11+00:00">June 9, 2015</time>You could hide the whole date, but not just the year.
For time of posting, not many themes display the time.
