Hi, I uploaded my images, and chose my theme. Now – how do I put thumbnails on my main page that links to larger images? My site url is annesmaps.com which resolves to annesmaps.wordpress.com. Much appreciated!

I’m following the instructions for portfolio, and do not see how to migrate my site to a portfolio rather than start a new blog/portfolio. I am sure it’s a breeze – if you already know how to do it. Please look at annesmaps.com – right now it looks terrible. If you know how to get this to more fitting theme it would be very much appreciated! I’ve been at this since this morning. Often when I follow support docs on WP, I inevitably reach a point where what I’m supposed to click on isn’t there.. grrr..

Try putting a small 2 pixel or so border on the pictures – I find that helps – especially where the picture is a bunch of white edging – the border works like a picture frame
Edit the picture – in Post / Page editor click on the picture then the pencil thing – down toward the bottom of the box that shows up is a place to put in border number & I think also color
