just want to do a bit of tweeking

Hello TSP (the sacred path),
I had a question here last night which you kindly answered and then I had a follow-up question which I posted before going to bed. Then I try to look for it today, and it’s gone from the line-up of questions.
That issue started by me asking about creating 2 separate pages – about me and blog. You replied that if it is theme dependent, i can’t do much about creating these 2 tabs. You suggested 2 alternatives.
My follow-up question was: if I bought the CSS package from you – i think it costs $15.00 – would I be able to change the look of my theme (I think if the theme says “CSS edit” the answer might be yes?
I just want to polish up on my html and css skills, as it’s been awhile.
Thanks, TSP.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, you can use the custom CSS upgrade to stylize the themes here, but it does not allow you to change the functionality of the theme. In other words, you cannot add top navigation to a theme that does not have it.
The “CSS edit” has a preview function so that you can try out changes without having to purchase the CSS upgrade. This allows you to play with the CSS and get things figured out before you actually purchase it. As you get changes figured out, you can copy and paste them into a plain text file and save it, and then when you have all your changes down, you can buy the upgrade and just paste your changes into the CSS edit box.
My suggestion is always to only include the actual parts of the CSS that you want to change, and then make sure that you have the “add to existing CSS…” selected. It is much easier to keep track of what you have changed that way.

appreciate your prompt response! Thanks for helpful advice. I’m determined to learn wordpress inside out, even if some of it can be so painful! :)
