Justifying text
-
Hi, new to WordPress here. I’m curious as to whether it’s possible to justify all text in a post. I only seem able to do it in one paragraph/”block” at a time, but even if I went through all of them, they wouldn’t be aligned with each other if that makes sense. Is there no way of doing it for an entire post?
(I know that there are reasons why one might not want to justify text on a website, but I always preferred the neater look myself.)

Hi there – Great question. Could you pass us a link to a post or page you’re working on so we can see what you are describing? Especially the part about how if you try to justify each paragraph, one at a time, they wouldn’t be aligned with each other. I’m hopeful we can pull a solution together once we see what you’re seeing. :)

Sure – had to just publish the post actually as I hadn’t done that yet. So this is what I’m working on; as you can see it’s not justified: https://queerasinweirdstories.wordpress.com/2021/06/24/sidetracked/
Not sure how to go about it? -
Oh, no need to publish anything for us; the WordPress.com staff can see your drafts too.
Anyways, so you wouldn’t be able to change settings for various blocks at the same time, but you can add them to a Group Block, which would then allow you to apply some changes to all of the blocks that are grouped into one.

I hope that helps :)

Thanks! Ah, but then where is the Justify option once I’m in the Group Block? I can change alignment between “wide width/full width” and I can copy, duplicate, ungroup, but I don’t have “Justify” as I did in the toolbar of the smaller individual blocks.

Hi there,
The justify option only works on individual blocks. You have to justify the text in each block of the group.
