k2 author byline in posts

    Hey everyone,

    I was wondering how I can go about adding an author byline to the k2 theme. Basically right now the post info line states, ‘Published June 7, 2008’. I want it to say, ‘Published June 7, 2008 by Author’ so everyone who posts on the blog doesn’t have to end each post with -Author. I don’t much about CSS but I do have the CSS customization package and have already used it to edit the physical layout of the site a little. Thanks for the help.

    Sorry, CSS can’t control the content itself. The necessary template files are out of reach for us.

    I can think of a veeeeery crude workaround that involves per author classes and background images, but I’m not sure at all whether this works on K2 (and I gotta hit the town now).
