Kabyle translation for wordpress.com

    Hello,

    We would like start a Kabyle localization of wordpress.com.
    Please would you like enable it?

    Kabyle is a latin-based script. iso 639-3 code is kab
    the locale is available on Firefox and a lot of opensource tools. A CLDR project is also started.

    Hi taqbaylitassa,

    I checked the status of WordPress.org translation project for Kabyle and it looks like they are pretty active.

    According to the team list page, they have released the latest version (4.7.2) and the entire translation for core is 98% completed.

    So I created Kabyle for WordPress.com project and promoted you as a validator.

    Next Steps:
    I encourage you to try the following:

    • Reach out to the WordPress.org Kabyle translation team and start working together.
    • Import WordPress.org translations as necessary.
    • Build a glossary and style guide that are common between WordPerss.com and WordPress.org projects (instructions). Let me know once you have them, I can add them to our list.
    • Join our private communication channel (a blog) for validators across different locales. I will send you an invite.

    Let us know if you have any questions. You can contact us through this Translation forums, or the validator blog I mentioned – if the topic is better handled privately.

    Hi taqbaylitassa,

    It looks like your validator status was revoked because you didin’t have the two-step authentication enabled for your account.
    (for more details on this rule, please refer to this FAQ page)

    For a security reason, we require all validators to enable it. Could you please turn it on and let me know? I’ll promote you as a validator again.

    I just enabled he two-step authentication for my account. Sorry for the invenience and thank you for support.

    I am working on translation exported from wordspress.org. Lot of entries ara same as wordpress.com
