Karuna button centred in widget?
-
Hi,
I’ve been racking my brains and searching the forums and online, and I can’t find a way to make this work.
At the bottom of the homepage for http://www.thefitnessweirdo.com there’s a full width widget “Get in touch”. This has a button, and I would like that said button to appear centred on the page (it’s a responsive theme, so it should be a responsive solution too).
I tried the CSS suggested in w3schools for aligning, but obviously I don’t know enough to make it work… :(
Any help, please?
Thank you!

Hey there!
Replacing the button code in your widget with this should do the trick:
<p style="text-align:center;"><a href="https://thefitnessweirdo.com/contact/" class="button">Contact</a></p>Let me know if that doesn’t work!

Thanks, Sage!
I was just about to post a custom CSS solution, so now Marta has two methods to choose from. :)
I copied the CSS on the “More Posts” button in the panel just above this one, and applied it to the button in the “Get in touch” panel:
#text-4 .button { display: inline-block; left: 50%; position: relative; transform: translateX(-50%); }Let us know how it goes!

Hi Sage and Kathryn!
Thank you so much for your help (and especially for replying so quickly!)
I tried the CSS first but it didn’t work and just sent the button all the way to the left… :( maybe something went wrong because I am on my tablet.
But the inline HTML works great!!
Thanks again for your help, I’ll probably investigate the CSS option when I have more time and better equipment…
Cheers,

Sounds good! I’ll mark this thread as resolved but feel free to start a new one if you need help with anything else.
