Karuna support
-
Hi there
I’m wondering if it’s possible to remove the blue bar at the top of the screen of the Karuna theme (I believe it’s the tagline bar).
As well, is it possible to not have the name of every page on the page? (i.e. I don’t want to see the word “Home” on the Home page, or “About” on the About page, etc, etc).
Thank you, kindly.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Provided you have purchased either a Business Plan or Premium plan you can edit the CSS. https://wordpress.com/pricing/ But do read Note 2 below.
Note 1: If you have the required upgrade you can use this link https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform so you can create a thread that will appear in the CSS Forum where you will get the help you need with CSS editing.
Note 2: You can also post there prior to purchasing an upgrade to get an answer to whether or not what you want to do can be accomplished via CSS editing.

Thanks for the quick response. It sounds like my requests are not something that are handled in this forum, is that right?

Ah, I was asking if CSS was required, but I don’t know.
Does removing the tag line bar require CSS?

Hi @seanadb, I see you have removed the tagline and site title at Customize > Site Identity. This is one way to do that. You can also add those both back and then uncheck the “Display Site Title and Tagline checkbox below the tagline field to hide them. That way they are still there for the search engines (they like titles and taglines).

Hi SacredPath
I think the method you suggested removes any tag line, but the bar that the tag line resides on still lingers. It’s the bar that I’m trying to remove. Does that make sense? -
@seanadb, yes it does. To remove that bar would require custom CSS, which is only available if you have the WordPress.com Premium or Business plan upgrade.
