Kazaa – antispyware – site freezes.
-
This is a comment that has just been left on my blog by a trusted user.
Everytime I access this site – my antispyware picks up a “Kazaa” threat. Any ideas? The site freezes frequently as well.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Yeah, your visitor needs to install a peer to peer program that’s not know for all of the spyware it has built in. :)
Kazaa is a file sharing program that is known for the large number and many tracking method it has built in. I wouldn’t let it on my own computers. There is a program called Kazaa Lite that, if you have contact with this person, you could suggest.
Unless you’re trading files within your site, I wouldn’t worry about it.

Eek! As Dr Mike says, it’s probably something installed on your commenter’s machine. I would suggest that they get rid of it ASAP. Don’t go anywhere near Limewire either!

Here is the response from my blog commenter.
She does not use Kazaa but used limewire from time to time. She also claims that my blog freezes on both her home and work machine?
Just fyi – she is a user from South Africa.
