KDP Publishing and WordPress

Hello,
I am looking to turn my account into an e-commerce site. I am trying to publish three-four interactive writing books through KDP and then market them on my WordPress blog. If I create an ecommerce site, will I be able to connect WordPress and KDP publishing so that my products on Amazon (through KDP) can also be purchased on WordPress and made into its own, individual category on my website?

To clarify, you plan to sell books directly from your website? Or do you mean you want to direct visitors of your site to Amazon, so they can purchase it there?
It is possible to have an ecommerce site by upgrading to our WordPress.com Business Plan (or higher) which will give you the ability to add any plugin “designed for WordPress” to your site.
Because you can add plugins, you have the flexibility to add functionality that we do not offer as built-in on WordPress.com. However, if the book is being sold on Amazon you could actually put that on your site without upgrading by following the steps here to add the books as “affiliate links” instead: https://wordpress.com/support/adding-amazon-com-affiliate-links-to-your-wordpress-com-site/
