Keep 2 blogs separate?

I have two wordpress.com blogs, both under one user name. Are all readers of one automatically able to view the second? If so, is there a way to separate the two?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Unless they’re private ANYONE can see them both. All they have to do is search your username. To separate the two, you need two completely separate accounts. Create a new account, Invite that one to be an Admin of the blog you want to separate, and then remove the first user from that blog.

rainacoaster provided the answer and I’ll provide relevant links. To completely disassociate two blogs currently registered to the same username we register another username with a different email address, while we are logged out of WordPress.com. Then we add the new username as an Admin to the blog we want to transfer to that username, and use this process to transfer the blog to a new username account.

Thanks to both of you! I’ll give it a try and let you know how it goes.

Ok, I’m struggling with the first step. I log out of WordPress.com and go (through Google) to register for a new account and up in the right hand corner it automatically shows my existing user name and will only let me create a new blog.

I know I’m missing something simple and appreciate your help to get me on track.

Ok, never mind. I figured it out. Didn’t even think about actually “signing out” of WordPress rather than just closing it. (Embarrassed.)
